How does the waiting list work?
When a client can't find a free slot on your booking page, they can join your waiting list with the day and time they prefer. If an appointment gets cancelled, you see the waiting clients in your calendar and confirm one of them for the free slot. The appointment is created and the client is notified immediately.
Is the appointment booked automatically?
No. The waiting list never books anything on its own. You always choose which client gets the free slot and confirm the appointment yourself, so your schedule stays fully under your control.
Can clients choose a specific barber or time?
Yes. When joining the list, the client picks a preferred time, how many hours of flexibility they have around it, and optionally the barber they want. This way you only see requests that really match the slot that opened up.
How do I enable the waiting list for my barbershop?
The waiting list is activated with one click from your ebarber admin panel. Once enabled, the option appears on your booking page whenever a client cannot find a free slot.
